Sunshine and showers

The superb view from Castle Hill affords the opportunity to do a bit of weather forecasting. This is 22nd August 2008 when the weather on the Folkestone Downs was decidedly changeable. Luckily Freya and the family timed our walk almost to perfection and managed to reach the car before the rain arrived.

Castle Hill is a turning off Crete Road West if you want the top of the hill or Junction 13 on the A20 if you want the bottom of the hill.
